Tucson Bridal Expo
I wanted to say thankyou to everyone who had a chance to come to the Tucson Bridal Expo. It's always so much fun to show everyone my work. It's one of the only opportunities that I have to display large images.
I also wanted to give a special thanks to Paul(for Mary) and Allison and Ben for booking weddings at the show. I look forward to meeting with many of you in the coming weeks. Don't forget that in order to get the show specials you wedding must be booked by 8/31/2009.

Tucson Bridal Expo
Hi Everyone, this week I'm spending a lot of time getting ready for this weekends Tucson Bridal Expo. It's this Sunday at the TCC and it's free. Please come down and say hello.
It's a great place to see me because it is the only time that I get to publicly display my large wall portraits. I also bring a bunch of sample albums for everyone to look at. Plus, this time for the first time, I'm bringing a small couch and a couple of chairs, so you can come sit down and relax at my booth while browsing my work.
I also always offer a few special discount at the show. If you are thinking about using me as your photographer then come down and sign your contract at the show, not only will you get any of my current show specials you will also receive a proofing upgrade (which may include a free iPod Touch).

Jury Duty!
Right now I'm sitting in front of a computer in the jury assembly room. Great fun!
Anyhow, I recently took a trip to North Carolina to photograph my cousin's wedding and to have a week of vacation. It was an awesome trip and while what the call mountains in the south are more like hills, it was still beautiful. I've been working on the photos for a week now and hope to post some soon.

I can't get the direct link to it here, because they don't allow you to get onto Facebook on these courthouse computers (which I think is pretty silly). You can find it by putting Jacob Chinn Photography into the search box on Facebook. Right now I'm offering a $50 bonus art credit to anyone that become's a fan of my Facebook page. That goes for those of you that have already become fans. Please feel free to comment on the Facebook page and write a review of my services.

Fall Alumnus Photo Session
I just photographed another subject for this Fall's issue of the Alumnus Magazine. Today I was photographing Professor Beverly Seckinger at the University of Arizona Department of Media Arts. She was great fun and I think the images turned out awesome. I can't wait to see her upcoming documentary on Hippies.
I would post photos from the session, but I give the Alumni Association first publishing rights. I don't want to ruin the surprise of the magazine, but so far I've photographed Coach Stoops, new head basketball coach Sean Miller, and a couple of other stories for the magazine. So please look for the Fall issue it should be out in early fall this year.
I'm also going to be working with Steve Rivera on an upcoming multimedia project for the Alumni website. I'll keep everyone informed when it comes out. I think it should be awesome!

After several hours of work, I repaired my blog. I hope you like the layout and hopefullly I'll be writing on it more often now.

Right now my blog looks a bit drab. In the next couple of days I'll have the redesign complete, so that it looks back to normal.

My blog just blew up on me!
I was finally writing a blog entry after who knows how long, and the whole database corrupted. Now I'm back to square one. But hey, maybe that's a good thing, since I wasn't blogging anyway.
So, it's a new start and new day and hopefully it means I'll be blogging more often now. We'll see.
