Steward Observatory - University of Arizona Astronomy

Established in 1916, the Steward Observatory is the research arm of the Department of Astronomy at the University of Arizona. The UA is a international leader in astronomy and boost several observatories across the world, including five in Arizona. The University also boosts the Richard F. Caris Mirror lab, where the cast some of the world’s largest primary mirrors.

I captured several of the UA's telescopes in action over the years and always enjoy the challenge of photographing the night sky.
